The Interior Castle:  A Contemplative Journey into the Upper Mansions

Participants must have completed The Interior Castle: A Contemplative Journey

I would be so thrilled to have each one of you find you way to this third experience. If you are ready to enter into this experience, you will have made the trip through the 8-weeks of The Interior Castle Journey.  And now, you are choosing to dive even deeper into the world of visions, raptures, holy courage, holy madness, and deep surrender to LOVE. After consciously moving our way through the purgative stages of the First, Second, Third and Fourth mansions – territory that is familiar to most of us. In this experience, we are choosing to explore and dive deeply into the Fifith, Sixth and Seventh mansions – the stages of Illumination and Union.

These upper mansions are the land of intimate communications of divine love, ecstasy, and the ineffable riches of drawing into Union with our Beloved. The fifth mansion is where the soul commits to her Beloved in a way that cannot be undone. In the sixth mansion the soul moves the passions of a love so deep, fiery, and mad that it surpasses the earthly realm. Finally, the seventh mansion where the soul surrenders to a perfected love – emptied fully and moving from the grace of Union. It is the potential for all of us, and it is this potential that we will explore.

Let’s think of ourselves as adventurers opening to the magic of intimacy with the Beloved. Let us meander through the imagery, phrases, and concepts that Saint Teresa lifts up for us to see.  This is meant to be a stroll, a wander, a lally gagging into the wonders of the true reality we live in. For us there is nothing to do but open ourselves to what is possible and be curious. To see if we can find our edges, and with bravery, move right past them.

We join together once a month, on Zoom, as a committed group of wanderers and explorers.  Poised for sharing and connection and reflection. Poised to be the mirror for each other. We will hold this container for each other for nine-months.

Our explorations culminate in a live, two-day retreat in which we will integrate, embody, and prepare to enter the world from this new place of understanding and perspective. Knowing that we have container of shimmering souls holding us as we live into our work and experience here on earth.

This experience will be discussed in detail as a potential opportunity toward the end of The Interior Castle Journey.
